Yes, God's gift of salvation is free.
A free gift means that you don't need to earn it. It doesn't matter who you are.
In fact, salvation can't be earned. It doesn't matter who you are.
If you already know about what JESUS did for you on the cross and are ready to accept GOD’s free gift of salvation, then go to the end of this page to pray to receive CHRIST.
If you have never read the bible or no one has ever explained to you the love of GOD through the death and resurrection of CHIST JESUS, continue reading.
So many times, people pray the ‘sinner’s prayer’ not really understanding the fullness of GOD’s grace. We really want you to know, so that you will not only receive JESUS as your LORD and SAVIOUR, but also stand firm on all of HIS promises for you.
Romans 6:23, For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
Whether you are young, old, rich, poor, popular, not popular, a pillar of your community, a shut-in, ugly, good looking, liven a nice house, live in prison, educated, not-educated, a do-gooder, or a selfish and mean person, etc. (you get the idea here), GOD doesn’t care!!! There is NOTHING that will scare GOD off!
Romans 2:11-16, For God does not show favoritism.
GOD loves you whoever you are. Period. Full stop.
John 3:16 . “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
To receive this free gift of salvation/eternal life means to believe by faith that the Holy Bible is true.
Hebrews 11:1 ‘Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.’
If we could physically see the gift, then we wouldn’t need faith, would we?
So, here’s GOD’s story…When God created the earth, HE also created Adam and Eve.
Genesis 1:27 So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
GOD had a beautiful relationship with them. He walked and talked with them as if you would your best friend. However, GOD told them to not eat of a certain tree.
Genesis 2:15-17, The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it. 16 But the Lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden— 17 except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.”
You see, GOD gave us a free will. He gave Adam and Eve a choice and guess what they did?
They chose poorly and ate from the tree GOD warned them not to eat from.
Romans 5:12. When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.
Ever since Adam sinned, humans are longer able to communicate with GOD. Our spirits are dead to HIM, which means we can’t go to heaven when we die. The only way to restore our connection with our maker, is to atone for our sins.
Throughout the old testament (which is a pretty thick read), the Israelites spend hundreds of years sacrificing poor little lambs at the altar for it said that there needed to be shedding of blood for the atonement of sins.
Well this went on and on and on forever, during which time GOD continued to show HIS love, mercy, and faithfulness towards them. In other words, GOD gave them every chance possible to save themselves, but in the end there was nothing they could do to earn salvation.
So enough is enough……GOD’s master plan all along was to save all of humanity from sin by sending JESUS to pay for all of the sins of the world once and for all (past, present, future.)
John 1:29. The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
How is this possible you ask?
The only way for JESUS to take away the sins of the world, was for JESUS to be sinless. That’s why HE was conceived by the HOLY SPIRT and born of the virgin Mary. This made JESUS fully human and fully GOD, and therefore sin had no power over Him. WOW right!
Matthew 1:18-25. This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit. 19 Joseph, to whom she was engaged, was a righteous man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly.20 As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” 22 All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet: 23 “Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’” 24 When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary as his wife. 25 But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus.
2 Corinthians 5:21. For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.
JESUS was born as saviour of the world (what we know as being Christmas), but HIS blood still needed to be shed, and this is what happened at the crucifixion which is known as Good Friday in the Christian faith/religion.
Ephesians 1:7. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.
Isaiah Chapter 53. 1Who has believed our message? To whom has the Lord revealed his powerful arm?2 My servant grew up in theLord’s presence like a tender green shoot, like a root in dry ground. There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract us to him.3 He was despised and rejected—a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. 4 Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins!5 But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. 6 All of us, like sheep, have strayed away.We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all. 7 He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. 8 Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people.9 He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave.10 But it was theLord’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord’s good plan will prosper in his hands. 11 When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. 12 I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.
Yes, JESUS died for all of us, but what sealed the deal, was that he took all our sins to the pit of hell, rose again three days later, and then ascended to heaven to sit next to GOD’s throne, making the offer of salvation complete in every way! Glory to God.
By the way, if you are new to the lingo, ‘rose again’ = the resurrection, which we celebrate on Easter Sunday!
1 Corinthians 15:4. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.
John 11:25. Jesus told her,“I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.
You can’t get to heaven without accepting JESUS. It’s when you ask for forgiveness and believe and accept that JESUS died for you, that your spirit is born again. This is the only way that you can get to GOD and spend eternity with HIM.
John 14:6. Jesus told him,“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
John 3:1-7. There was a man named Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader who was a Pharisee.2 After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. “Rabbi,” he said, “we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.” 3 Jesus replied,“I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” 4 “What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?” 5 Jesus replied,“I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.6 Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.7 So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.
’In other words, we are spiritually dead without the HOLY SPIRIT and therefore can’t get to heaven without Him.
Once you receive JESUS as Lord and Saviour, you receive the HOLY SPIRIT.
Romans 8:9. 9 But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.)
Ephesians 1:13-14. And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. 14 The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.
The HOLY SPIRIT is given to us to counsel, comfort, and guide us while we are on earth. That’s how much GOD loves us!
You might be saying to yourself, “I was raised in church and I’m a good person”, but ask yourself…do you only know of JESUS, or do you know HIM personally and you Lord and Savior?
Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
You might even be saying “how could GOD love me, I’ve been so bad, and I am undeserving of salvation”, or “I have way too much baggage!”. Remember JESUS came for everyone!!!!!!
It’s not about how many good deeds you’ve done. Salvation is a free gift that can’t be earned.
There is no other religion that offers you a saviour. All others require you to earn GOD’s love. What a rip off because we can never be good enough on our own. That’s why GOD sent JESUS!
You may have labelled yourself a Christian because of your up-bringing, but do you have a personal relationship with JESUS?
If you don’t know JESUS personally and are ready to, then this prayer below is a great place to start.

“Dear God, I fully recognize that I am a sinner and that there is nothing I can do to redeem myself. Because you love me and because of your grace, you've made a way for me to come to you. By faith, I believe that your word is true and that you sent your SON JESUS to die for me and to be resurrected for me. I ask you to forgive me of my sins.
